I saw a biography of Johnny Cash's life last year. They were showing it alongside a biography special of Elvis Presley. It was amazing to see the similarity between the two with regards to their presence onstage. They both exuded a kind of "power" from themselves that kind of made your skin tingle even just watching them on the TV. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see the biography before this video because the lyrics in the video fit his life so perfectly. All in all, a perfect tribute to the man and his life.

  4. Oh hell, I'm feeling generous. Here: Hurt by Nine Inch Nails I hurt myself today To see if I still feel I focus on the pain The only thing that's real The needle tears a hole The old familiar sting Try to kill it all away But I remember everything What have I become? My sweetest friend Everyone I know Goes away in the end You could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt I wear this crown of shit Upon my liar's chair Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair Beneath the stain of time The feeling disappears You are someone else I am still right here What have I become? My sweetest friend Everyone I know Goes away in the end You could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt If I could start again A million miles away I would keep myself I would find a way
